Ammonex ion exchange ammonia removal system for fresh water aquaculture application. Ammonex contains a clinoptilolite modification of zeolite, a naturally occurring mineral which has the capacity to trap harmful ammonia (NH4+) molecules and exchange them for harmless sodium ions (NA+).
Ammonex can be partially recharged after use by soaking in a 200 ppt (parts per thousand) brine solution for 30 minutes. rinse the material before use.
Ammonex packs are 500 gram net weight filter bag packs ready for easy use in transport or holding. Simply drop bag in tank, transport box, etc. Packed 200 units per drum.

No-Foam
No-Foam is a biologically compatible silicone based surfactant. It reduces foam in transport and holding tanks which interferes with proper air to water oxygen exchange.
Basic application is one tablespoon per 100 gallons.

Tris Buffers
Tris buffer (chemically Tris [hydroxymethyl] - 1, 3 propane diol) and its hydrochloride salt are totally biologically compatible for aquaculture use. TRIS and TRIS HC1 may be mixed in varying proportions to design pH locks for use in maintaining pH in transport.

Sodium Thiosulfate
For de-chlorination. Add 7 ppm for every 1 ppm chlorine. Equivalent to 1 level teaspoon per 1366 gallons per 1 ppm of chlorine. Use of chlorine test kit strongly recommended.
